The College of Dentistry provides comprehensive academic advising to support students throughout their five-year Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program. The Academic Affairs Office, in coordination with the Program Unit, oversees the organization of the annual academic advising schedule. Each year, the Program Coordinator proposes a timeline through which faculty members are assigned to supervise small groups of students consisting of four to five students. Through regular group or individual meetings, academic advisors offer guidance and support to address students’ academic, social, and psychological needs. They also provide personalized advice that contributes to enhancing students’ academic success, well-being, and overall personal development.
